Geometry, nature, and rhythm
I believe art can connect us to the secrets of ourselves and the universe, if we remain open to observing the subtle complexities that give rise to all that is. My recent work reflects an exploration into the underlying nature of our human experience – geometric, cyclical, and harmonious – through watercolor, ink, and mixed media works.
Inspiration comes in many forms, and in no small part from music and the beautiful landscape around me. I am also strongly inspired by culture and ideas, frequently tapping into my anthropological training to spark creativity and new connections.
